The Pigeon Detectives

FX Productions provided additional lighting and equipment for the recent Pigeon Detectives gig at Newcastle Uni staged by SJM concerts. FX added to a rig that already included many pars, 4 Atomic strobes, 2x 4 cell moles and 16 Chroma Q LED Colour Block, FX provided 8 Mac 500's, Par Cans and 6x 8 cell moles and 12 floor cans.

The rig looked amazing when it was all up with Macs mounted on the top of vertical trusses with the colour block running in strips down the truss, and loads of blinders everywhere that did look like a nuclear explosion when they all went on (check out the pictures!!)

With a completely sell out show and not much room to move most of the pictures are from the side of stage where it was slightly more civilised, but what an atmosphere and what a gig.

Glow @ Newcastle Arena

FX Productions provided lighting at Newcastle Arena in the main hall for Newcastle Universities Freshers Ball with entertainment provided by Radio 1's Tim Westwood the theme for the night was Glow as the name suggests so there was plenty of UV and glow sticks by the plenty to go with the massive lighitng rig,

CSS @ Newcastle Uni

As part of the Freshers Week celebrations at Newcastle University FX were employed to provide additional lighting in the basement for CSS, with a near sell out crowd and a great band fresh from supporting Gwen Steffani at Newcastle Arena

Stormin' The Castle 07

For the fourth year running FX Productions was chosen to provide lighting for the Iris Stage and technical assistance for the whole festival. Since FX were first at the festival the Iris Stage has evolved from a small bunch of crates bunched in a corner of the beer tent with a couple of par cans to a monsterous 12 x 12 meter stage with a huge lighting rig and its own 2,000 capacity marquee.

This years festival was once again amazing with some great bands including UFO, Bessie and the Zinc Buckets, Prognosis, Sticky Fingers, The Quireboys and many more

Kiddstock 07

FX Productions provided audio assistance for the 2007 Kiddstock festival, held at Thimbleberry Farm near Stanhope, FX provided an sound engineer for audio company GHS Pro Audio to take charge of all audio proceedings including looking after DJ's Alex Kidd, Mark EG, Lisa Pin Up and the Organ Donars, a good day was had by all including the thousand plus clubbers and the weather was good which was a concern, as the main stage was in a marquee in the farm yard, hopefully we will have some photos of the event soon.
